Proctoring Services: Distance Education

College of the Mainland provides secure distance education proctoring services for individuals completing coursework at other colleges or universities. Our professional environment ensures academic integrity while offering a convenient local testing option.
Verification
Students are responsible for confirming with their home institution that the exam materials have been sent to and received by the COM Testing Center prior to their appointment.
Appointments must be scheduled and applicable fees paid in advance through the COM Testing Center portal. Select the "Non-COM students" option when registering.
- Course Materials: Students should follow the study guidelines and use the materials provided by their primary instructor or home institution.
- Materials Allowed: Only materials explicitly authorized by your instructor will be permitted in the testing room.
- Review: COM Testing Center policies.
Once your exam is completed, the COM Testing Center will return your materials or submit your digital exam directly to your home institution, per their specific instructions. COM staff do not grade exams. All inquiries regarding scores and final grades must be directed to the instructor at your home institution.
