College of the Mainland provides flexible online tutoring options to ensure you have access to expert academic support, whether you are off-campus or studying after hours. Current students can choose between real-time sessions with familiar COM tutors or 24/7 on-demand assistance through our partners.

Online Academic Support

Work directly with College of the Mainland writing tutors in a real-time, digital environment. This service is available during The Tutoring Center's normal operating hours.

  • Online Sessions: These face-to-face virtual meetings use video, audio, and a shared whiteboard. You can interact with your tutor on a computer or laptop as if you were in the center together.
  • E-Tutoring Sessions: A convenient alternative for students who cannot attend a live session. You upload your draft, and a tutor provides detailed written feedback within a designated timeframe.

Book your Appointment

Through our partnership with Tutor.com, COM students have free access to professional tutoring across a wide variety of subjects at any time of day or night.
