Payment Installment Plan
If you are unable to clear your student account balance in full, College of the Mainland offers a payment installment plan to help make your tuition more manageable. Availability of the payment plan is determined by the college, and it may not be available during specific times and dates during registration.
Payment Methods
- Credit card or debit card
Cost to Participate
- Enrollment Fee: $30 enrollment fee per semester (applies to ACH and credit card agreements).
- Immediate Full Payment Fee: $2 enrollment fee if a full payment is processed immediately.
- Returned Payment Fee: $30 fee if an installment payment is returned.
- Note: Installment due dates cannot be changed once established.
Simple Steps to Enroll
- Go to the Student SelfServe website.
- Select "Students".
- On the left side of the page, click on the second icon from the top (Financial Information).
- Click on "Student Finance" and select the Nelnet Payment Plan option.

Balance Adjustments: Please do not assume your balance will automatically adjust if financial aid is received, or if a class is dropped or added. You are responsible for reviewing your agreement balance online to verify accuracy.
