Student Emergency Aid
Help for Life's Unexpected Emergencies
We understand life can be unpredictable. Unexpected costs and needs can cause significant stress and impact your academic success and personal well-being. COM has a student emergency fund to help keep you on track to reach your academic and career goals.
Eligibility
You are eligible to apply for emergency assistance through the Student Emergency Aid if you are currently enrolled in either credit or workforce continuing education courses.

NOTE: Student Emergency Aid is intended to pay for unexpected expenses. Completing an application does not guarantee funding. You may access emergency aid only once per academic year.
If you are in need of assistance, please submit an Emergency Aid Request form. Your request will be reviewed and considered for limited grant and scholarship funding.
Loans may also be suggested as an option to help meet your larger and longer-term
expenses. Please know that we will do our best to address your circumstance, however, we cannot
always meet your full request with the limited funding available.
