COM Campus Police
The COM Police Department provides security for College facilities and assistance to students, visitors, faculty and staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week. COM Police Department officers regularly patrol campus parking lots.
The College of the Mainland Police Department operates with full law-enforcement authority under the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, the Texas Penal Code, and the Texas Education Code.
COM police officers are Texas Peace Officers commissioned by the Board of Trustees. Our jurisdiction extends to any county where COM owns, leases, or operates facilities.
