Designed with modern flexibility in mind, this program helps you build a high-impact resume, expand your professional network, and transition seamlessly from student to high-earning professional.
Co-Op Opportunities
COM currently offers co-op opportunities in the following programs:
- Business, including accounting and administrative support
- Computer Systems Technology
- Computer Information and Design Technologies
- Drafting

Cooperative Education is an academic strategy that integrates university-parallel or technical studies with paid, practical work experience.
- Earn While You Learn: You work in a position directly related to your major while enrolled in a corresponding Co-op course.
- Coordinated Supervision: Both a COM faculty coordinator and your workplace supervisor evaluate your progress, ensuring your daily duties align with clear educational goals.
- Academic Credit: Upon successful completion of your workplace objectives and course requirements, you earn elective or required credit toward your degree or certificate.
