Alexis Lopez
A few words from their nominator:
"I would like to nominate Alexis for Employee of the Month in recognition of the positive
impact he has on students, families, and his colleagues every day. Students often
come to us unsure, overwhelmed, or trying to figure out a process that feels simple
only after someone has already explained it. Alexis meets them with patience, kindness,
and a willingness to help them get where they need to go. He does not just point students
in a direction and move on. He makes sure they understand what comes next.
One of the things that stands out most about Alexis is how often he steps in to help
Spanish-speaking students and families. That support can completely change someone’s
experience. It can turn confusion into clarity and make a student or family feel welcomed
instead of lost. He is dependable, positive, and generous with his time. Whether he
is helping a student understand their next step, translating so a family feels included,
or walking someone to the right office instead of just giving directions, Alexis brings
care into the work in a way people notice."

Barbara Kovacevich
A few words from their nominator:
"I am nominating Barbara for Employee of the Month because she is one of those people who makes complicated work feel manageable. When a project is unclear, time-sensitive, or still half-formed, Barbara has a way of helping people slow down, sort through the moving pieces, and figure out what actually needs to happen next. She listens carefully, gives thoughtful advice, and helps turn a rough idea into something that can move forward.
What I appreciate most is that she does this with patience and professionalism, even when there are tight timelines, competing opinions, or a lot of details to work through. She does not just answer the immediate question. She helps people understand the process, so they are better prepared the next time. A lot of Barbara’s impact happens behind the scenes, which means it can be easy to miss unless you have worked with her directly. But that work matters. She helps colleagues succeed, keepsprojects moving, and brings clarity to situations that could otherwise get stuck."

Isabelle Faust

"I would like to nominate Isabelle for Employee of the Month in recognition of her exceptional dedication to student support and success. Isabelle consistently goes above and beyond to assist our students in identifying and applying for scholarships that align with their individual needs and circumstances. Her knowledge, responsiveness, and genuine care make a meaningful difference in our students’ lives.
Most recently, Isabelle assisted a student who was facing a significant financial hardship. The student had to miss work in order to focus on studying, which created difficulty paying essential bills. Isabelle responded quickly and compassionately, taking immediate action to help the student identify an available scholarship and guiding them through the application process. Her prompt support helped relieve the student’s stress and allowed them to remain focused on their academic goals. Isabelle exemplifies our commitment to student-centered service. Her proactive approach, attention to detail, and unwavering advocacy for students make her an invaluable member of our team and highly deserving of this recognition."
