Our Role and Responsibility
The Board of Trustees serves as the bridge between the college and the community. Their primary responsibilities include:
- Setting Strategic Vision: Defining the long-term goals and educational priorities of the college.
- Policy Governance: Establishing and reviewing institutional policies that ensure student safety and academic integrity.
- Fiscal Stewardship: Approving the annual budget and ensuring the responsible use of taxpayer and tuition funds.
- Presidential Oversight: Working closely with the COM President to ensure the college meets its annual performance benchmarks.
Board Meetings
We invite the public to stay engaged with the college's governance. Regular meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 1:30 pm at the Doyle Family Administration Boardroom (A129).
